Peltier thermoelectric minibars

The continuous increase in energy needs and the directives that impose ever lower energy consumption force manufacturers to develop new products that use alternative energy sources for sustainable consumption. Today, cooling and heating systems are used in many sectors. However, some of these systems, having moving mechanical parts, are not silent and require some maintenance.

The thermoelectric cooling system with “Peltier Cell” is based on a discovery by the French physicist Jean Peltier. In 1834 he discovered that, during the continuous flow of electric current in the circuit composed of several conductors, the joint point between them cools or heats up, depending on the direction of the current. In the minibar, in practice, the passage of electric current through a thermoelectric module creates a difference in temperatures between its sides, one side cools while the other heats up.

The same principle has been applied to our new Thermoelectric Minibars. This system, together with the lack of gases that are harmful to the environment, allows cooling to be generated inside the minibars, with low energy consumption and in total respect of the environment in which we live. Moreover, the total absence of moving mechanical parts makes it completely silent, wear-free and without the need for any maintenance.

• No moving parts

• Absence of vibrations

• Completely silent

• No maintenance

Absorption Minibar

The cooling system does not have mechanical moving parts, so it is totally silent. The cooling effect takes place through a heat source, ie an electrical resistance, which allows the evaporation of the ammonia that reaches the condenser, within which, by transfer of heat, it returns to the liquid state. Ammonia enters the evaporator inside the minibar and evaporating begins the final process by absorbing heat and producing cold. The minibars are free of CFCs and fluorinated hydrocarbons.
