Absorption minibar The cooling system has no moving mechanical parts, so it is totally silent.
The cooling effect occurs through a heat source, i.e. an electrical resistance, which allows the evaporation of the ammonia that reaches the condenser, inside which, due to the transfer of heat, it returns to a liquid state.
The ammonia enters the evaporator inside the minibar and evaporates and begins the final process by absorbing heat and producing cold.
The minibars are free of CFCs and fluorinated hydrocarbons. Today, cooling and heating systems are used in many industries.
However, some of these systems, having mechanical parts in motion, are not silent and need some maintenance.
The thermoelectric cooling system with “Peltier Cell” is based on a discovery by the French physicist Jean Peltier.
In 1834 he discovered that, during the flow of direct electric current in the circuit composed of various conductors, the junction point between them cools or heats up, depending on the direction of the current.
In the minibar, in practice, when electric current passes through a thermoelectric module, a temperature difference is created between its sides, one side cools down while the other heats up.
The same principle has been applied to our new Thermoelectric Minibars.
This system, together with the lack of gases harmful to the environment, allows us to generate cooling inside the minibars, with low energy consumption and in total respect for the environment in which we live.
In addition, the total absence of moving mechanical parts makes it completely silent, wear-free and without the need for any maintenance.
